So I've been spending quite a bit of time on ConsultantCommons, a new online community knowledge space sponsored by CompuMentor. Apparently there's a name for what we're doing: "asset based community development," which has the adorable acronym of ABCD.

If you're interested in ABCD and resource sharing between nonprofits, etc.
Check out Neighbor Ring - www.NEighborRing.org - it's the only real online
tool for ABCD. You can in fact set up a bunch of nonprofits to share
technology assets by leasing things to each other. etc.
